What They’re Built From: Quartz, Coating, and Smart Connectors
We use quartz envelopes because they can handle the shock of going from cold to blazing hot without cracking. They stay stable, even when the bathroom air is thick with humidity. The IP65 waterproofing comes from gasketed end caps and a clever reflector design. It keeps water out of the electrical parts, so you don’t have to worry about corrosion. Inside, a halogen element fires up instantly, giving you that deep, infrared warmth. A reflective coating throws that heat forward, so it goes where you need it, not wasted on the inside of the fixture. For installation, we use R7s or Sk15 connectors. They’re built for high heat and snap into place without any tools. Once they’re in, they stay in—even with the little vibrations and temperature changes a bathroom goes through.

When it comes to choosing the right one, it’s all about the size of your space and how warm you want it to feel. For a 4 m² bathroom, a 1500W heater is usually enough to get the room feeling comfortable in just a few minutes. If you have a bigger space, say 10 m², you might need a more powerful unit or even a couple of heaters. Just make sure you’re not pushing the limits of your circuit. This way, you’re only using energy when you need it. You’re not heating the whole house, just the spot that needs it.
