The ends of the lamps and the reflectors take a beating from all that thermal expansion. If you just toss these in and forget about them, you’re going to burn out your filaments. You’ve got to make sure your housing is vented. Double-check your cooling fans—if the air isn’t moving, your equipment won’t last.
